Dental hygiensists are teaching the next generation to protect their mouths from germs, as well as from diseases that are spreading like wildfire.
But some experts say dental hygerians are often too focused on the appearance of their patients’ mouths.

Here are some tips to stay healthy while working with dental hygers.

Wash your hands before you touch your mouth.
Some hygensists have a rule that no touching of a mouth can be done without washing your hands first.
So it’s important to be aware that you’re not doing any harm.
And don’t let your hands get dirty while working.

Wash the hands you use when brushing teeth with your teethbrush.
It’s important that your hands aren’t too dirty to use in the future.
And if you’re going to work in a clean environment, don’t forget to wear gloves.

Don’t leave any germs in your mouth, even if you’ve already washed your hands.
If you do get germs on your mouth and your hands, make sure you clean them up with soap and water.
