The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) has released its annual rankings of the nation’s school systems.
While many schools have been rated lower than others in recent years, they are all still a solid investment for students.
Here’s what you need to know.
1.
Central High School: No. 1 for students who love to learn The NCES defines a “student” as “any person aged 12 or older who is not enrolled in a school or who does not have a current attendance record.”
The average score for this school is 3.6, making it the best school in the country.
Students at this school receive a B, B+, C, D or F grade.
The average ACT score is 28.9.
Central is also the only school that has been awarded the top score in every state, the top grade for both high school and college completion.

Central State School: The best school for students with low self-esteem In 2018, the school was ranked the top school in America for its students with a low self esteem score.
The school had an average ACT test score of 27.2, the second-highest in the nation, and a GPA of 3.8, the best for any college-bound student.
Students are also expected to perform well in a wide range of extracurricular activities.

High School of the Arts: No problem completing high school The school’s graduation rate is 82 percent, which is good for fourth in the state.
High school graduation rates have increased for students of all socioeconomic levels, as have the percentage of students who graduate from high school.
The most recent report from the National Center on Education Statistics also showed that students from all families in New York State are less likely to graduate from college.

Central School for the Arts, Drama and Music: The highest in the city Central State is a school for the arts, music and drama.
The New York City school has three music and dance programs, including the award-winning School of Music, Drama, and Performance.
The School of Drama is the most popular in the area, with the third-highest average ACT in the entire state.

Central Secondary School: Students with high expectations will succeed in the arts The average SAT score of students at Central State was 1434, which placed the school in second place nationally.
Students have high expectations and have a great chance to succeed, with an ACT score of 23, the highest score in the New York state.
The NCE reports that students will be awarded the highest average SAT scores in their high school career, with a score of 1830.

Central Technical Academy: The school with the best SAT score The NCSES also released its SAT scores for 2018, which showed that the school had the highest SAT score among New York’s public high schools.
The Central Technical School scored 1719, which was the fourth-highest score in New Jersey.

Central Central School: This school is one of the best schools for students to become involved The Central State school has the highest participation rate among all public high school campuses in the United States.
The number of students from families earning up to $40,000 a year or families who have a net worth greater than $50,000 per year are among the highest at the school.

Central Prep: The worst school for people with ADD The NCEDS reports that “the average SAT and ACT scores for children from families with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are 6 points lower than the average for children without ADHD (average score: 1570).”

Central Tech: This is the only high school that’s a full-time school The NCIS says the school is “a full-year full-day school that provides specialized instruction in mathematics, English, social studies, music, and other courses.”
The NCTS says that this school “has the lowest percentage of its students in grades K-12 with a high school diploma or GED, a significant achievement among schools of its size.”

The Art Institute of Technology: The most innovative school in New England The Art Institutes, located in Plymouth, Maine, was awarded the “best in the world” award by the prestigious Institute of Education in 2020.
The institute also named The Art of the Future Academy the “most innovative” school in North America.
The Arts Institute of New England was awarded an “A” for its achievement in its field of education in 2020, which the institute says is a “significant achievement among many other institutions in the region.”

Central Community College: The only school with a STEM program in the US According to the NCES, “over the past three years, the average student has taken courses in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, and math.
