By the time a student graduates high school in Liberty High School in Edison, Iowa, most of the students will have already spent the last three years working in truck driving or as a construction worker.
That leaves only three years left for them to focus on academics and take the next step to college.
For the past six years, Edison has been working to transform itself from a trucking and construction school into a school focused on education and entrepreneurship.
