Coach Pee Sports will be returning to the field for his second consecutive season as the head coach of the West High School Wildcats.
The coach is joining a very young roster as the program enters its second season in the Football Championship Subdivision.
The Wildcats, who were a perennial contender for the West title, finished a disappointing 3-11 last season after a 6-6 mark in 2014.
Pee had the Wildcats ranked in the top 20 in the AP Poll for a year in 2014 before losing to No. 7 South Dakota State in the Big 12 Championship Game.
He is hoping to bring back some of that momentum.
He is looking to put his stamp on a young, talented group of players who have been playing with a renewed sense of urgency in the last few weeks.
“The team is growing up,” Pee said.
“We’re a young team and the players are hungry.
I just want to keep that momentum going.”
The new coach will be introduced on Wednesday as a special guest.
Pees first appearance on the show will be Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 9 p.m.
The team will then begin practice on Tuesday, Nov: 9, at 7:30 a.m., and will be available to watch on the Wildcats’ YouTube channel.
