The school dress code is no joke.
The new school year is here.
But to celebrate, the students of Westlake High School in California have decided to change things up for Halloween.
The school has decided to dress up in the traditional high school garb, with students wearing dresses, headbands and hats and carrying Halloween candles.
The theme of Halloween, or “the Halloween costume”, is very much about social class and is an homage to Halloween in the US.
The principal, Alisa Marder, said: “It is important that the school dress is in accordance with the social and cultural norms of the community.
We want to show that we are not afraid of the dark and we are embracing the spirit of Halloween.”
She added: “This is our way of saying thank you to the community and our students for making us a place where everyone feels safe and comfortable.”
The school dress rules are in place to help make Halloween fun, safe and safe again.
“It has been a long time since Westlake has seen the school’s students in costumes.
The school has been around since 1926 and has grown in recent years.
The new year brings new students, so Mardar is hoping for a bigger turnout.
