It is a question many parents are asking in the wake of the death of a middle school student, who was found dead in the gym last month.
A former student of Lee County Schools in North High School said he had been in contact with parents who had asked him which middle school he should be attending, according to ABC News.
The teen, who goes by the nickname Liberty, was reported missing by his family on May 6.
Lee County Schools, which is in the middle of a mass exodus to nearby El Paso, says the student was in regular attendance at the school.
His mother said she was told by a teacher that he was going to be in regular class on the last day of school.
Lee County School officials released the following statement to ABCNews.
This is a developing story.
