CARROLLTON, Texas — Carrollton high has opened its doors for students from the United States and Canada.
The school’s new students will be able to visit and participate in the school’s annual high school dance on Sunday.
The school says the high school is opening with a dance performance on Monday, but it will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p. m.
A dance at Carrollton is not a new concept for Carrollton, but this is the first high school to welcome students from outside the U., Canada and the United Kingdom.
This year, Carrollton’s students will participate in a dance with students from around the world.
Carrollton Superintendent John Kaczynski says the school is excited to welcome all of its students from all countries, but that they will have to learn new dance moves, dance styles and styles of music to fit in with the school culture.
Carrollton High has been hosting its annual high-school dance since 2010, but the school hopes to open up a dance program every year, and this year will be no different.
Carrollson’s new dance classes are expected to include music from the Caribbean, Latin American, African and Eastern European traditions, along with a wide variety of different styles.
Carrollson High School in Carrollton opened its door to all students from countries around the globe in January, and the school says it is already receiving more than 4,000 applications.
The new dance program will be opened on Sunday and the Carrollton City Council will decide on the next dance performance.
