Carmel, Indiana (VP) — When Carmel police were investigating a possible case of sexual assault on a student at Carmel high School, they were able to identify a girl who had been spotted wearing a school-issued high school uniform.
The high school girl, who is not yet 18, had been wearing a red dress shirt and red pants.
She also had a school desk tattooed on her right forearm, according to police.
The girl, whose identity is not being released to protect her privacy, told police that she was working in the cafeteria, and she had been groped on a previous occasion.
Police told local media that they found a “possible victim” and asked for help from the local school district.
Carmel ISD said it has a zero tolerance policy for sexual assault.
Police said the incident occurred on Dec. 5, but the school did not disclose whether the alleged incident was reported to police or not.
A school spokesman told Vice News that no students were involved in the alleged attack.
