A teacher has been fired from Harvard Business School after he was fired for wearing a white hoodie to school.
The school said Thursday that the dismissal was “without merit,” and that the former principal will not face any discipline or repercussions.
The firing comes after the school’s student body president said he wanted to start a conversation about race and diversity on campus and that some of the reasons cited were “completely untrue.”
The former principal, Peter Dolan, will be required to complete 60 hours of community service and attend a four-day mandatory “cultural competency training,” according to the school.
Harvard has about 10,000 students in its Business School.
